La Grande Passeggiata dei Ghat

Walk from Assi Ghat (south) to Raj Ghat (north) — a 7 km stretch along the river. Best done at dawn when the ghats come alive with prayer, yoga, and dipping pilgrims. Allow 3–4 hours. Finish with kachori sabzi at one of the ghat-side stalls.

Major

Main ghat and site of the spectacular Ganga Aarti every evening.
